Larry F. Pisciotta

Born and raised in Pueblo, Larry Pisciotta and his wife, Jean, are natives of Colorado, committed to their family and community. Jean and Larry were married in college, and upon graduating from the University of Denver, Larry was recruited by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company to work in their upper management-training program. After spending three years in Los Angeles, California, at Firestone’s headquarters, Larry and Jean moved back to Colorado. In 1967, Larry began a partnership with Firestone that would span more than 17 years and develop into one of the largest tire dealerships in the Rocky Mountain West region. In 1983, Larry sold his dealerships to Firestone but remained Marketing Manager for the 33-store region for the next two years.

After several additional ventures, Larry founded Brakes Plus® in 1990. Since then, Brakes Plus® has grown to over 53 stores located in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Texas. Larry works closely with his sons who are active in the day-to-day operations of Brakes Plus®. He is mainly responsible for major advertising and marketing decisions and plays a key role in site selection and expansion for Brakes Plus®.

Larry and Jean’s three sons, Dean, Mark, and R.J., all figure importantly in the operation of Brakes Plus®. Larry and his wife enjoy traveling, fly-fishing and golf. They have been and continue to remain active in the community. Larry has been a Rotarian for more than 35 years and is a member of the Aurora Community College Foundation. In addition, they are supporters of numerous other community projects and charities, including Gold Crown Foundation, which works with kids to provide opportunities through sports and enrichment programs.
