Brakes Plus is proud to announce that we have become a member of Green Shield Partners, an organization of automotive service companies that are dedicated to creating a more environmentally-friendly automotive industry by adhering to environmentally-conscious standards and adopting recycling business practices. Earning a Green Shield Partner certification validates our efforts of providing eco-friendly services to our customers when it comes to their automobiles. 

To become a Green Shield Partner, companies reduce their carbon footprint by using a combination of environmentally-conscience services and products like: recycle used motor oil, recycle used antifreeze, use remanufactured antifreeze, recycle oil filters, use environmentally-friendly parts washers, and service oil--‐water separators per regulatory guidelines. 

As a Green Shield Partner, Brakes Plus is part of an elite group in our industry. In fact, in a survey of automotive service locations, only 14 percent of those surveyed employ the environmental practices required to qualify them as a Green Shield Partner.

	Scrap Metal Scrap metal is sold and recycled. Some examples of scrap metal are rotors, drums, brake pads, shocks & struts, and front-end parts.

	Recycled Products We use recycled products such as hand towels, toilet paper, and shop rags that are washable for reuse.
